Storyline Blue Gender: The Warrior
It is a time of chaos. Earth is no longer what it used to be. It has been infested with a bug like species called the Blue. Yuji Kaido, who has a mysterious disease, is put into suspended animation until a cure is found. When he wakes up Yuji learns that its been more than 20 years since he was put into suspended animation, and the world is now controled by these creatures. Blue Gender: The Warrior is a retelling of the Blue Gender series with a few minor (and some major) adjustments. If you re not willing or unable to sit through the entire 26 episodes of Blue Gender but still want to see what it s all about then this movie would probably be the way to go, but that does come at a price.
The compilation movie, Blue Gender: The Warrior is composed of both old and new footage—with many clips being completely re-animated—and a very different ending. Roughly the last third of the original series' story arc was removed for the movie, thus requiring an alternative ending.
